| Description: |
Our client, a well established, growing hardgoods retailer is in need of a Housewares Buyer as an add to staff to support current and future expansion. The buyer will be responsible for merchandise selection, vendor negotiations, market research, devise and implement strategies with vendors to drive sales, training and developing of assistant buyers, periodic store visits, product advertising and providing stores with direction for merchandise presentation.

| Requirements: |
Candidates should have strong leadership skills and decision-making abilities. You must have the ability to establish solid relationships with both internal and external groups. A background as a housewares buyer in a large volume retail organization is essential. Must be able to travel extensively both domestic and international.
