Frank Tonini, Managing Partner...Sandwich, MA
After a successful career in Human Resources with Allied Stores, Caldor and Mammoth Mart, Frank and his partner purchased Erwin Stone Associates in 1974. The name was changed to Search Professionals in 1991. He has worked with executives in all facets of the industry with proven results. His background in human resources brings an understanding of the client/candidate relationship and the need to create the right fit for long term associations.

Dick Barzelay, Managing Partner...Sandwich, MA
Dick started his retail career in the supermarket industry and later on continued as a regional manager in the chain drug industry. He learned the executive search business with a major New York search firm and then he and his partner Frank Tonini purchased Erwin Stone Associates in 1974, later changing the name to Search Professionals, Inc. Together, they have built a database of over 12,000 pre-screened and qualified candidates and have worked with hundreds of companies, large and small, coast to coast and overseas for over 25 years.

Bob Mira, Senior Account Executive...Sandwich, MA
Bob joined Search Professionals in 1994, after 25 years of retail operations experience. Having a proven track record with such industry leaders as Target, Home Depot, Zayre and Bradlees, Bob is knowledgeable in all aspects of retail operations, merchandising and general store management. Bob knows and understands what is needed and expected from both the client and the candidate.

Paul Mullen, General Manager…Myrtle Beach, SC
Paul Mullen's career covered the supermarket, chain drug and home center industries. His proven track record of developing people in a multi-profit center environment was a natural entrée into the executive search business. Paul opened Search Professionals' first branch office in Burlington, VT in 1994. Paul then relocated to the Carolinas to open first an office in Raleigh-Durham and then Myrtle Beach. In his three decades of experience in retailing and executive, Paul has developed a long list of industry friends, contacts, clients and candidates.

Norman Chalphin, General Manager…Boyton Beach, FL
Norm Chalphin spent his 30-year retail career in the Mass Merchandising Industry. During his career, he focused on operations leading ultimately to the position of Senior VP of Stores and Operations. His responsibilities included Stores, Operations, Store Planning and design, Warehousing and Distribution. He has been a long time member of the IMRA where he served on the steering committee for Store Operations and Human Resources and also as conference Chairperson. Norm's hands-on knowledge of multi-unit businesses plus his capacity to analyze people and organizational structure were the keys to his successful career and will prove to be a real asset in the executive search industry.
